About
Located in the former City Hall Building of Caguas, the Museo de Historia de Caguas consists of five exhibition halls presenting the historical evolution of the criollo identity. The exhibition walks attendees from the indigenous Taíno culture, through the socioeconomic transformations of the five centuries that followed the discovery by Christopher Columbus in 1493, up to the present time.
The building that houses the museum, was constructed in 1887 and in 1989 it was declared a historical landmark.
