About
The Museo de Artes Populares de Caguas (Caguas Folk Art Museum) pays tribute to the Puerto Rican artisans and Creole hands that have created unique handmade products of practical use or aesthetic and artistic value.
The museum has two main areas: the first hall contains a permanent collection of Puerto Rican master craftsmen, such as saint woodcarvers Zoilo Cajigas, Celestino Avilés, and Domingo Orta.
The second hall exhibits a selective sample of eight miniature pieces by Caguas master artisan, Mr. Edwin Báez, as well as quarterly temporary exhibitions.
