Museo de Arte UPRM (MUSA)

The Museum of Art (MUSA) of the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, is a young institution with a rich and interesting art collection. Although it opened its doors in 2016, since the 1960s there was already a desire for the Mayagüez Campus (RUM) of the University of Puerto Rico to have a museum. Since then, the RUM has made important contributions to the arts, with innovative initiatives for its time, such as inviting renowned artists and acquiring works of art to nurture the university experience of students in western Puerto Rico.
