About
Found at the end of one of the most hiked trails in the Bosque Seco de Guánica, Fuerte Caprón has some of the most scenic views in the dry forest. From the fort ruins, you'll be able to bask in the breathtaking views of the Guánica Bay and the astounding natural surroundings of this tropical dry coastal forest.
Fuerte Caprón was originally built in the 16th century by the Spanish and later repurposed by U.S. troops after the Spanish-American war.
