Orocovis now has its first artisan ice cream shop. Located next to the plaza in downtown Orocovis, Franchella offers freshly made ice cream and popsicles. Using their own recipes and creative combinations this cozy location is already attracting visitors from all towns, as well as tourists from other countries. They have a nice balance, from lactose-free options like their unique coconut flavor to unusual ones like one of their best sellers, Honey and Ginger. Some are even made with local fruits like their Passion Fruit sorbet, made with fruit from the mountains of Orocovis.
The location is great as you can also visit nearby places of interest like the plaza, an art gallery, a coffee shop next door, as well as restaurants.
