About
Cooknnecting (Cook= cooking + nnecting = connecting) was created to motivate and inspire food-loving travelers, both local and tourists alike, to learn about the importance of meaningful connections through unique culinary experiences.
Yeira, a Doctor in Clinical Psychology and Home-cook located in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, loves eating, cooking, and meeting people of different cultures. She loves traveling and has always been centered around tasting the local cuisine. During the pandemic in 2020, she opened the doors from the coziness of her home, guiding others step by step on how to cook a family dish rooted in her Puerto Rican culture and life experiences, adding value to others in a creative way through the kitchen.
Our guests describe our interaction as “much more than just playing cooking.” In Cooknnecting they learn about connections, food, Puerto Rican culture, quality of life, connecting with the present moment, creativity, team building, love, having fun, and more, creating memories and stories to last a lifetime.
