About
Icacos is an uninhabited little island just off the coast of Fajardo on the east coast of Puerto Rico. With crystal-clear waters that crash gently against a strip of diamond-dust sand, Cayo Icacos (or Icacos Island) is the biggest and most scenic cay of the many that make up the La Cordillera Nature Reserve. Icacos can only be reached by boat, so make sure you book a catamaran day trip or a water taxi in advance. Although the island doesn’t have palm trees lined up for shade, it is perfect for swimming and snorkeling… you’ll discover a bountiful array of marine life.
