Calle Cerra

This legendary street in Santurce once housed some of salsa's most important record labels and offices, including the famous Fania Records. After the labels and offices closed, the street was neglected, and it wasn't rehabilitated until the last few years when a handful of local entrepreneurs brought the street back to life with new restaurants, bars, and murals. Once a year, the street celebrates the Santurce es Ley Festival, where local and international muralists are invited to use the street as their blank canvas.
