Birth of the New World Statue

Birth of the New World is a 350 -foot statue depicting Cristopher Columbus and it's located in the town of Arecibo. The statue is the work of Georgian-Russian painter Zurab Tsereteli. While the statue is not open to the public yet, visitors can admire it from afar. The road where the statue is found is lined with restaurants and food kiosks, so plan to grab a delicious bite nearby.
