About
The original structure for Aguada's Town Hall dates back to the town's founding in 1648. Throughout the years, the original structure suffered severe damage due to natural disasters and a fire in 1912. Starting in 1925, architect Rafael Carmoega worked on a new town hall, and construction was finalized in 1929. The style of this historical building is neoclassical, and it follows the 19th century's preference for clean and stylized lines.
