An island and historic city of enchanting scenery, gastronomy, culture, and beaches, San Juan and its nearby vacation destinations exemplify island leisure at its best.

With amazing views and welcoming weather virtually year-round, bask in sunny days and gorgeous settings while playing and staying at some of the Caribbean’s top golf courses and resorts. Being a bilingual American territory, Puerto Rico is a tropical neighbor and safe, thriving island haven, where U.S. dollar is the currency used and numerous direct flights arrive daily into San Juan.

Rio Mar Country Club

Río Grande

Rio Mar Country Club, located in Río Grande, 40 minutes from San Juan, is part of the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort. Its two 18-hole golf designs – River Course by Greg Norman and Ocean Course by Tom and George Fazio – are as ingenious as they are complementary. Views of El Yunque (the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest system) and the Atlantic Ocean await, as do superlative customer service and a brand-new clubhouse. Rio Mar rounds are made even better by staying at the gorgeous, amenity-rich resort. A casino, spa, pools, multiple restaurants, oceanfront setting, and a selection of room types ensure guests luxuriate in pleasure on and off the course.

Dorado Beach Resort & Club

Dorado Beach Resort & Club offers golfers unique experiences on their two courses.

TPC Dorado Beach Resort and Club

Dorado

Located in Dorado, around 25 minutes from San Juan, on the north coast of the island, TPC Dorado Beach is home to two 18-hole courses authored by Robert Trent Jones Sr. The East Course ranks as one of the best courses in the Caribbean, and anywhere in the world. Scenery begins on the first hole, which stretches alongside turquoise ocean waves, sandy beach, and coconut palms.

Sugarcane Course, a 7,119-yard jewel, includes water, grand bunkers, and a tropical vibe accented by breathtaking native flora and fauna. The tradition of golf at Dorado Beach is as rich as this magnificent estate’s history. The spectacular courses have played host to celebrities, world leaders, golf legends, and professional tournaments.

Coco Beach

Río Grande

Named Championship and International, the two 18-hole courses at Coco Beach are as impressive as they are immaculate — par for the course at a venue that hosts the PGA TOUR and the Puerto Rico Open. Located in Río Grande on the island’s north shore roughly 40 minutes from San Juan.

Erstwhile major champion Tom Kite designed both courses, comprised of four distinct 9-hole circuits. Coco Beach has ample seashore, white silica sand bunkers, and an abundance of water features and palm trees. Amazing beach views, luxurious clubhouse, and first-rate service define the guest experience at Coco Beach.

Río Grande

Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed this picturesque golf course. Fifteen of the 18 holes border some form of water, as the course routes around lakes before emerging along the Atlantic coast for the final holes. Bahia Beach has been designed with the resort golfer in mind but provides players of all skill levels with a strategic and thrilling golf experience. A delightful haven of golf that will enthrall your soul and stoke your love for the game, Bahia Beach is certified as a Silver Signature Sanctuary by Audubon International.
