How does the sweepstakes work?
Starting on National Plan for Vacation Day (January 26), through February 10, travelers are encouraged to simply block time off for an upcoming trip. Participants itching for an escape to Puerto Rico can then enter the sweepstakes by following three easy steps after reading the official rules:
- Pick any week in 2021 to block on a digital calendar as vacation
- Include “Fly JetBlue to Puerto Rico” as the subject line
- Include [email protected] as a participant on the calendar entry and press send
What is the grand prize?
Three (3) Grand Prize winners will be selected to win two roundtrip JetBlue travel certificates to Puerto Rico (not inclusive of government taxes and fees), plus a 6 day/5 night stay at the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino, a beachside resort in the heart of Condado, with easy access to explore the city or spend time on the beach.
How many grand prize winners?
There will be a total of three (3) Grand Prize Winners.
Is there a runner up prize?
Yes, 100 lucky winners will receive a goodie bag with travel swag to use once they take a vacation.
Who can enter?
Participation is open only to persons that: 1) are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia; and 2) are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of date of entry. All Participants must have access to the Internet and must have an e-mail account. Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. Employees, officers and directors of Discover Puerto Rico (“Sponsor”) and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners (such as JetBlue and San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino), advertising and promotion agencies, manufacturers or distributors of sweepstakes materials and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such employees/officers/directors are not eligible to enter. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
Is there a deadline for the sweepstakes?
Yes. The deadline of the sweepstakes is February 10, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST.
Will I receive confirmation of my entry?
Yes, an automated message from Discover Puerto Rico will be sent to the email address provided in the entry, along with the sweepstakes rules.
Can I enter more than once?
No. Please visit the Official Rules for more information on eligible entries.
Is JetBlue the only airline for travel for the sweepstakes?
Yes, JetBlue is the exclusive partner of the sweepstakes.
Under the new CDC rule, do I have to get a molecular COVID-19 test to return to the United States from Puerto Rico?
Given Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, the destination is excluded from the CDC requirement and you do not need to provide a negative COVID-19 test result to return to the mainland United States. The CDC still recommends getting tested 3 – 5 days after arrival and staying home for 7 days post-travel.
